Luke 4:18, ““The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.”
TSPI’s Discipleship Program was designed to help TSPI MBAI members grow and deepen their relationship with God and their fellow brethren. It encourages TSPI MBAI members to become passionate followers of Christ and have strong commitment to building health relationship with a Christ-like approach as revealed in the scriptures
This program also aims to:
- Usher TSPI MBAI members to know Christ and give them an opportunity to accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
- To help members in their spiritual growth for them to develop into being more like Christ.
- To aid members to be a beacon of love, peace, joy and hope by sharing the Gospel with their families, co-members, communities, etc.
The Discipleship Program is an interactive sharing among TSPI MBAI members on Bible based principles. The activity is conducted during weekly center meetings and facilitated by the TSPI NGO Account Officer or TSPI MBAI Insurance Officer. TSPI MBAI members uses Usapang Paglago kay Kristo (UPK) materials as guide during their weekly meetings. The weekly sessions run for 30 minutes with topics focusing on Spiritual Disciplines, Family Matters, Stewardship, Voter’s Education etc.
To date, there are more than 11,000 members who have journeyed with us as we expand our Discipleship program to “conquer” the communities for Christ and give back all the Glory to God alone!
We were also able to spread the Good News to more communities with the establishment of the Sambayanihan Centers where we conduct our weekly Usapang Paglago kay Kristo. As of June 2022, we now serve 54 communities and our goal is to be present in all 120 branches of TSPI.
