Sambayanihan sa Sakahan (refers to Collective Responsibility in Farming), a celebration held at the Cultural Center of San Manuel, Tarlac, on June 29, 2023, was organized by TSPI, and joined by Jollibee Group Foundation. The objective of the event was to recognize and thank TSPI’s farmer-entrepreneurs, the Local Government Units, and the TSPI Farmer Entrepreneurship Program (FEP) Project Team. The following farmer groups were given awards under the TSPI-Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) FEP: MASIFAGCA Pangkabuhayan, Inc. and Ungab Farmers Association, both in Nueva Ecija; ALCAVEGA, Inc., Nueva Vizcaya; Pagbiagan Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Tarlac; and Segundu Agri-products, Inc. in Pangasinan. Acknowledgement of the farmer-entrepreneurs’ achievements served as a tremendous source of motivation and encouragement to the other farmer attendees. To express their gratitude, farmer groups offered organizers and guests bags of their best produce, vegetables, and fruits.
