“Katawan ni Kristo, Kayamanan mula sa Panginoon”

“Idinadalangin ko na maging malusog ka at sana’y nasa mabuting kalagayan, tulad ng buhay mong espiritwal na alam kong nasa mabuti ring kalagayan” – 3 Juan 1:2

TSPI MBAI tapped the Rural and Barangay Health Units to come up with Kamalayan sa Kalusugan ng Komunidad (KKK), a series of health related lectures given to TSPI MBAI members. The first Local Government Unit (LGU) to partner with TSPI was the Municipality of Tayabas, Quezon Province – Rural Health Unit (RHU) headed by Dr. Hernando Marquez, City Health Officer.

One of the objective of this program is to create awareness on health services provided by the LGU in the community like availability of maintenance medicines, vaccines and Covid-19 booster shots at the Rural Health Units. It also aims to enhance one’s knowledge on health related topics thereby improving the health condition of the family through application of learnings gained.

During the first run last June 24, 2022, Dr. Hernando Marquez discussed lifestyle diseases such as hypertension while nurse Arvic Palayan talked about breast cancer in one of our Sambayanihan Center located in Barangay Ipilan, Tayabas City attended by more than fifty TSPI MBAI members and TSPI employees. The participants also availed of blood pressure checking done by the BHW.
